Delete Staff

This section explains how to delete or deactivate staff members in BoothPoint, and how to restore them from the Recycle Bin if needed.

🔎 Finding Staff to Delete

🧭 Navigation

  1. Open the Back Office

  2. Tap or click the Staff tab

  3. Use the search box on the left to find the staff member

    • Search includes: club reference, full name, stage name, email, mobile number

👥 Selecting Multiple Staff Members

  • Hold CTRL and click each staff member to select

  • Click again to deselect

  • Selected staff members will be highlighted

 

🗑️ Deleting Staff Members

👤 Delete a Single Staff Member

  • Open the staff member’s profile by double‑clicking or pressing Return

  • Tap or click Delete at the top of the form

👥 Delete Multiple Staff Members

  • Select the staff members using CTRL

  • On the left, tap or click Delete Staff Member(s)

⚠️ Confirmation Message

A message will appear:

Are you sure you want to delete the selected staff members (6)?

The number in brackets shows how many staff members are selected. Select Yes to proceed or No to cancel.

📝 Note

Staff members are not permanently deleted. They are moved to the Recycle Bin and can be restored at any time.

 

Note

To deactivate staff instead of deleting them:

  • Select the staff members

  • Tap or click De‑Activate Staff Member(s)

This removes them from active lists without placing them in the Recycle Bin.

 

♻️ Restoring Staff Members

If a staff member was deleted by mistake or has returned to the club, you can restore them easily.

  1. At the top of the staff list, tap or click the Recycle Bin tab

  2. Use CTRL‑click to select one or more staff members to restore

  1. Select the staff member(s) in the Recycle Bin

  2. On the left, under General Functions, tap or click Restore Staff Member(s)

⚠️ Confirmation Message

A message will appear:

Are you sure you want to restore the selected staff members (6)?

 

 

Need to delete an existing staff member from BoothPoint? Here's how:

 

  1. Open the back office, then tap or click on the Staff tab.

  2. On the left, tap or click the search box to search for a staff member.
    (The search facility includes club reference, full name, stage name, email and mobile no in the criteria)

  3. To multi-select staff members hold the Control key down and tap or click on each staff member. This will highlight each staff member selected. To deselect a staff member, tap or click again and this deselects the staff members.

  4. One way to delete a single staff member is to edit her profile, then tap or click the Delete button on the top of the form.

  5. Alternatively, on the left, tap or click Delete Staff Member(s).

  6. A message box will appear asking Are you sure you want to delete the select staff members (6)?
    (The message shows the number of selected staff members at the end of the message - (6))

  7. If you are certain these are the correct staff member that need deleting, select Yes, otherwise select No.

 

Note

The staff members never actually get permanently deleted, instead they get put into the Recycle Bin. Follow the instructions below to restore a deleted staff member.

 

To de-activate staff members, follow the same process but instead of selecting Delete Staff Member(s), tap or click De-Activate Staff Member(s).

 

Restoring Staff Members

In the case a staff member has been deleted in error or has returned for some reason and you want to restore her, here's how:
 

  1. At the top of the staff member's list is are tabs, tap or click Recycle Bin.

  2. Select the staff member(s) you want to restore.
    (Follow same instructions as above to multi-select)

  3. On the left in General Functions, tap or click Restore Staff Member(s).

  4. A message box will appear asking Are you sure you want to restore the select staff members (6)?
    (The message shows the number of selected staff members at the end of the message - (6))

  5. If you are certain these are the correct staff members that need restoring, select Yes, otherwise select No.
