Staff Overview

The Staff section in the Back Office provides a complete management area for all staff members registered in BoothPoint. Each staff member has a personalized profile, allowing managers to control permissions, update records, and maintain accurate operational information.

 

This screen is used by managers, supervisors, and administrators to ensure staff access, responsibilities, and activity are always up to date.

Club Reference

The club reference is either automatically generated or manually entered. In Options > About my Club there are additional settings to generate the club reference.

Last Checked In Date the staff member last checked in [Read only]
Voids Today Voids made today [Read only]

Active

Un-tick this box to set the staff member as in-active then save.

Default: Yes

Must Check In Use this option to disable the need for them to be recorded on the staff schedule. Default: Yes

Show on Login Screen

Not all staff will need to login to BoothPoint, only staff where this option is checked will be visible on the login screen staff list. For example security staff won't need to login.

Data Confirmed

In Options > About my Club there is an additional setting to Confirm Dancer/Staff Data Records. This is used primarily for a chain of clubs who want to make sure the new staff, dancers etc profiles have been filled in correctly and fully.

Enter in a value the staff member gets paid per hour. This is roughly calculated on the Staff Timetabling system.

Enter the staff members home telephone number.

Allows staff to change the selling price of a product.

Allows staff to open the cash drawer without completing a sale.

Allows staff to defer payment for a transaction.

Allows staff to run an X‑Read (mid‑shift report).

Allows staff to run a Z‑Read (end‑of‑day report).
