Adjust Float

The Adjust Float screen allows you to update, verify, and record the amount of cash and non‑cash tender currently held in the till.

This ensures accurate tracking of notes, coins, funny money, and tipping dollars at any time during operation.

🧭 Accessing Adjust Float

📂 Navigation

1. Open the Back Office

2. Go to Extra Menu

3. Tap or click Adjust Float

The Adjust Current Float window will open, displaying four tabs: Notes, Coins, Funny Money, and Tipping Dollars.

🧾 Notes Tab

💰 Overview

Enter the quantity of each note denomination currently in the till. The system automatically calculates the total value for each denomination and displays the Total Notes at the bottom.

⚙️ Example

• $1 Notes — enter quantity (e.g., 100)

• $5 Notes — enter quantity (e.g., 4)

• $10 Notes — enter quantity (e.g., 2)

• $20 Notes — enter quantity (e.g., 3)

• $50 Notes — enter quantity (e.g., 4)

• $100 Notes — enter quantity (e.g., 6)

The total of all notes is shown as Total Notes: $1,000.00.

🪙 Coins Tab

💰 Overview

Enter the quantity of each coin denomination currently in the till. The system calculates the total coin value and displays Total Coins at the bottom.

⚙️ Example

• 1c Coins — enter quantity (e.g., 10)

• 5c Coins — enter quantity (e.g., 20)

• 10c Coins — enter quantity (e.g., 30)

• 25c Coins — enter quantity (e.g., 40)

• 50c Coins — enter quantity (e.g., 50)

The total of all coins is shown as Total Coins: $39.10.

💵 Funny Money Tab

💰 Overview

Enter the quantity of Funny Money denominations currently held in the till. These represent internal club currency used for dancer transactions.

⚙️ Example

• $10 Funny Money — enter quantity (e.g., 100)

• $20 Funny Money — enter quantity (e.g., 200)

The total of all funny money is shown as Total Funny Money: $5,000.00.

💸 Tipping Dollars Tab

💰 Overview

Enter the quantity of Tipping Dollars currently held in the till. These are used for dancer tips and tracked separately from cash.

⚙️ Example

• $2 Tipping Dollar — enter quantity (e.g., 100)

The total of all tipping dollars is shown as Total Tipping Dollars: $200.00.

📊 Totals Summary

At the bottom of the screen, BoothPoint displays:

• Non Tender — total of non‑cash items (e.g., funny money, tipping dollars)

• Total Tender — total of all cash and coin denominations combined

💾 Saving Changes

✔️ Save Options

• Adjust Float — saves the entered amounts and updates the till balance

• Cancel — closes the screen without saving changes
