Cash Lift

The Cash Lift feature automatically alerts the BoothPoint operator when cash needs to be removed from the terminal.

Cash lift values are set by the administrator, and when triggered, the operator must enter the tender type and value being lifted.

🧭 Accessing Cash Lift

📂 Navigation

Open the Front Desk or POS Terminal
Tap or click the Cash Lift button when prompted or from the terminal menu

💰 Lift Cash from the Terminal

🧩 Steps

Select the Cash Lift button
Enter the quantity of Notes and Coins being removed from the terminal
Tap or click Lift Cash to confirm the transaction

⚙️ Cash Lift Warning Level

In Options > Club Settings, administrators can set a cash lift warning level. For example, if this is set to $500, when the cash in the terminal exceeds that value, BoothPoint will display a popup message every 5 minutes reminding the operator to perform a cash lift.

⚙️	Best Practice Always record the staff name, terminal ID, and lift amount to ensure full accountability and traceability in end‑of‑day reports.
