Smart Devices

BoothPoint the ability to communicate with smart/wireless lighting and smart/wireless motion detectors, designed to be installed in booths [or areas], which are in turn linked to the booth [or area] pre-setup in BoothPoint.

Philips Hue smart devices are the only supported device BoothPoint communicates with.

Note: We only support the following models supplied by Philips Hue. BoothPoint does not work with other Philip Hue devices (due to the limitations of the API they supplied).

• Bridge: supports up to 50 devices with approx. 25 meter range (Hue Bridge)
  The bridge is a simple device that required plugging into the mains and wired up to the network with a CAT5 or CAT6 network cable. This communicates with the light bulb and motion sensors.
• Bridge Pro: supports up to 150 devices with approx. 25 meter range (Hue Bridge Pro)
  Same as above but with a wider range. This will depend on the distance from first booth to last.
• Light bulb: only this A60 light bulb is supported (Hue Light Bulb)
  The wireless light bulb (must be A60 model) is plugged into a light socket: B22 or E27. BoothPoint sends signals to the bridge which in turn sends commands to the bulb to turn on, off, change color etc. Each booth in BoothPoint can be assigned a bulb. Lights can flash x number of minutes before due out allowing the dancer to up-sell the next dance without intervention.
• Motion Sensor: only this motion sensor is supported (Hue Motion Sensor)
  The motion sensors detect movement in a booth when not in use via BoothPoint. This can give valuable reporting information at the end of the shift, so if dancers have been in a booth having an unauthorized dance, you will be notified. Given the report you can look back at the cameras at that time to see who was there and the like.

💰Costs

There is an initial setup fee of $650 due to getting everything working can take quite a lot of our time.

Then an additional $10/month/smart device. This is for the additional support required.
