🧭 Overview

The Dashboard is the central analytics screen in BoothPoint. It provides real‑time visibility into club performance, dancer activity, and revenue. Managers and administrators use this screen to monitor operations, review sales, and perform end‑of‑session checks.

 

 

 

🧭 Navigating the Dashboard

  • Access the Dashboard from the top navigation bar.

  • Tabs at the top allow switching between Sales, Dancers, and Staff views.

  • Each view updates the charts and tables to reflect the selected category.

 

📈 Reading the Charts

Top 10 Dancer Sales

 

  • Displays the ten highest‑earning dancers for the current session.

  • Each bar represents total sales per dancer.

  • Hover over a bar to view the exact value.

  • Use this chart to identify top performers and track commission trends.

 

Top 10 Product Sales

 

  • Shows the ten most popular product types sold during the session.

  • Includes drinks, surcharges, show fees, and lap dances.

  • Helps managers understand which products generate the most revenue.

 

Weekly Takings Chart

 

  • Summarises total takings for the current week.

  • Useful for comparing daily performance and spotting trends.

 

💵 Reviewing Sales Data

Sales Table

 

  • Lists all transactions processed through the system.

  • Columns include:

    • Date/Time – when the sale occurred

    • Terminal ID – workstation used

    • Staff Name – operator logged in

    • Total Value – transaction amount

  • Click any row to view detailed sales items.

 

Sales Items Panel

 

  • Displays product details for the selected transaction:

    • Product type

    • Description

    • Quantity

    • Total value

 

📊 Understanding the Analysis Panel

The Analysis section summarises operational metrics for the current session:

Active dancer count Number of dancers currently clocked in
Check‑out dancer count Number of dancers clocked out
Actual dancer count Total dancers active during the session
Required dancer count Minimum required dancers for the shift
Difference dancer count Gap between required and actual dancers
Dancer’s Commission Total commission owed to dancers
Club’s Commission Total commission retained by the club
Issued Fines Any fines applied to dancers
House Fees Fees charged, paid, or owed
Admissions Value Total entry fees collected
Credit Card Sales Total card payments processed

 

🛒 Sales by Product Types

Breaks down total sales by category, including:

 

  • Dancer tips

  • Dances

  • Fines

  • House fees

  • Modifiers

  • Service charges

  • Staff tips

  • Club extras

 

Use this section to analyse which product types contribute most to overall revenue.

 

🧾 Product Sales List

Shows every product sold during the session with its total value. Examples include:

 

  • Card processing fees

  • Surcharges

  • Drinks and show fees

  • Lap dances

  • Staff tips

 

📦 Summary Boxes (Right Panel)

🖥️ Status Bar

Located at the bottom of the screen, showing:

 

  • Logged‑in user

  • SMS credits available

  • Terminal ID

  • Current date and time

  • CPU and memory indicators

 

🧾 Performing Reads

  • X Read – Generates a detailed printout of current dancer accounts and transactions without closing the session.

  • Z Read – Finalizes all accounts and closes the session, recording totals for the day.

 

💡 Tips for Managers

  • Use the Top 10 Dancer Sales chart to identify high performers.

  • Check Commission Due Out before performing a Z Read.

  • Review Product Sales to monitor bar and show performance.

  • Ensure all dancers are clocked out before finalizing the session.
